The Eastern Market neighborhood in Detroit’s northeast is famous for its food and local craftsmanship. It houses many unique venues and functions as a meeting place for vendors, who come to the area every weekend to offer a diverse selection of goods. It’s no wonder that Eastern Market has become such a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.

If you haven’t yet explored Eastern Market in person, you can take part in a guided walking tour with Detroit Experience Factory this February. The nonprofit organization will be showing attendees around Eastern Market on Saturday, February 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. After meeting at Germack Coffee Roasting Co., the tour will visit a number of small businesses and other cool spots. Your guide will share plenty of facts about the city’s history and architecture, as well as its contemporary art and cultural movements.

You can get a ticket for the tour on Eventbrite. Check out Detroit Experience Factory on Instagram to take a peek at everything they’ve been up to in the city!
